*** Update 05/08/2020 ***
SJ&A supports essential industries such as medical; sanitation & disinfection; law enforcement; transport; and other public infrastructure. As such we are endeavouring to stay open during Melbourne's Stage 4 COVID-19 restrictions. Our laboratory capacity has been reduced to 25 % of its normal capacity and we will prioritise work which supports the above essential industries. Our staff are otherwise mostly working from home and still have access to normal email contact during this time. Access to the laboratory workplace is now very restricted and we highly recommend that you make an appointment with your contact staff member before attending our site.
Steve Jenkins & Associates is very mindful of the current situation with spread of coronavirus and the associated COVID-19 disease in Australia and around the world. We are working very hard to minimise the risk of introduction or transmition of coronavirus through SJ&A, and we have implemented a strict cleaning procedure for staff, frequently contacted surfaces, and customer's instruments within our facility.
If you require instrument calibration for a medical or supporting function, please let us know and we will prioritise your instruments to ensure they are returned to service urgently.
To maximise social distancing within the laboratory, our staffing levels have been restricted to one staff member in each of our laboratories at any time. In keeping with government advice, our staff are being encouraged to work from home where possible.
During this time we would ask that all non-essential visits to our office be avoided or delayed. If you need to attend our office, please contact us prior. We ask that you do not attend our office it you:
We will continue to accept courier deliveries during normal business hours.
All of these measures may reduce our capacity until the threat from the virus has subsided, and we greatly appreciate your understanding during this challenging time.
In the meantime, stay safe, don't forgot to be vigilant with hand washing, and avoid touching your face.
